In a week of significant bombshells dropping every evening, this one is a dud. The Washington Post has obtained a recording of House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy telling colleagues last year that he believed Donald Trump - by then the presumptive GOP presidential nominee - was on the payroll of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
