On June 10, Mid-Hudson News had an article headlined, “Decommissioning Indian Point: Experts look for solutions that aren’t worse than the problem”. You might have thought that Gov. Cuomo would have convened these “experts” before beginning the decommissioning process, but only if you don’t understand “Prince Andrew’s” burning desire to outdo his father.

I’d like to propose some solutions to the problem of making up for the 2 billion watts of electric generation that will be lost by Indian Point’s closing. First, Albany should be surrounded with windmills to exploit the wind generated by our politicians. Second, Sen. Chuck Schumer should be strapped to a treadmill generator placed just out of range, but in sight of a TV camera. If these don’t make up the deficit, research will be needed to learn how to harness the power of Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand’s F-bombs.
