Thanks for beautiful parks Poughkeepsie

This is any overdue letter of appreciation to the City of Poughkeepsie Department of Parks and Recreation. I live on Wilbur Boulevard and every day drive past Spratt Park where the ball fields have been alive with great activity all summer long and well into the fall. I have seen all kinds of teams, young, older, very old, all genders, and all colors. And an increasing number of fans who come to cheer them on. What a great sight and what a fine return on the investment in the sports complex. The city may have its problems but this shows that it also can do things that add pleasure for many, including the silent onlookers! …
